DRIVING
Darwin is approximately a 90 minutes drive from the capital Stanley, 40 minutes from the military base at Mount Pleasant.
As you approach, you'll pass the Argentine cemetery turn-off. Follow the road around the water edge of the Choiseul Sound passing Darwin Cemetery (second largest cemetery in the Falkland Islands and the majority of the graves contain employees of the Falkland Islands Company Limited and their families who lived and worked in the Lafonia area).
When continuing you'll see signs marked for Goose Green, there is a brown sign post labeled 'Darwin' and 100 yards after this you'll see a track leading towards the settlement. Parking is available at the lodge site.

FLYING
You can catch a flight from Stanley Airport in a Britten Norman small aircraft which will land at Darwin airstrip. The flight is no longer than 20 minutes and is a comfortable ride but there are no refreshments or toilet facilities on board.
A member of our team will be able to collect you and transport you to the lodge from the airstrip which is a five-minute drive away. Darwin airstrip is centrally located within the islands and is a drop-off point to reach West Falklands, Saunders Island, Pebble Island, Carcass Island, Sea Lion Island, Bleaker Island, and Weddell Island.
